How much sea moss gel should I take a day?

It is recommended to take 1-2 (one to two) tablespoons of sea moss gel a day. If you choose to do more while fighting an infection or virus you can. No more than 3 Tablespoons a day. Remember to drink at least 1/2 you body weight of water per day to make sure you are detoxing.

 

How do I use my Sea Moss Gel?

Sea moss is naturally rich in minerals, protein, and iodine. Adding 1 - 2 tablespoons of sea moss gel to your daily smoothies, drinks, or other foods, over time, will help reduce mucus and inflammation throughout your body.

How soon will I begin to feel the benefits of sea moss?

You can begin to feel the benefits of sea moss as soon as 3-5 days.  On average it takes about a week for the sea moss to fully enter your system. 

 

What if I am pregnant, can my baby and kids take sea moss gel?

We are not medical professionals, so we advise that you ask your doctor.  However, there are millions of pregnant women who consume sea moss while pregnant so that their baby receives all of the same vitamins and minerals.  There are also millions of mamma's that give their kids (toddler-teen) sea moss in their meals! 

 

How do I store my Sea Moss?

Sea Moss Gel should always be stored in a refrigerator. Warm temperature of the sea moss decreases its benefits. Temperatures between 34-38 degrees F slow bacterial growth. Will last up to 3-4 weeks refrigerated and frozen up to up to 6 months.

 

How long does Sea Moss last before spoiling?

Most Sea Moss Gel has an average lifespan of about 3 to 4 weeks when refrigerated. You should always inspect all your food products before consumption. Sea Moss has been known to vary in spoilage and is not intended to be stored but rather to be consumed. We always advise to consume generously.

 

How do I know if my Sea Moss spoiled?

Signs of spoilage include odd pungent aroma & light grayish watery/slimy coating on top layer & mold.  If you find mold or suspect spoilage please reach out immediately

  

Can I take Sea Moss if I am allergic to shellfish, sea animals or bottom feeders?

Absolutely! Sea Moss is a Vegan product that simply grows off the shores in the Sea.

 

Can I consume Sea Moss, I'm Vegan?

Yes, Absolutely! Sea Moss is a Vegan product that simply grows off the shores in the Sea. However, some of our gels do contain Raw Honey.

Please note: If you're Vegan make sure to review all the ingredients in the gel you are purchasing and add a note at checkout so we can make sure not to include raw honey in the gel you are purchasing.

 

Can I take Sea Moss while on Iodine medication? (Common Thyroid issues)

Normally what we find is that Sea moss replaces the daily need for Iodine medication. Again, please consult your doctor & feel free to reach out to us directly for further discussion.

I am currently on a blood thinner, may I consume the gel?

Sea Moss functions as a natural thinner. You should abstain from using. 

 

How is your sea moss gel prepared?

All of our sea moss is rinsed, cleaned, and soaked using ONLY charged Alkaline water so we can guarantee a clean product every time. Soaked for 24 hours and rinses 4x. Sea Moss is also soaked with lime as lime helps kill the taste of sea and is a natural preservative.
